Dr. Colton Gruhler

Dr. Gruhler is originally from Redding, California. He played collegiate football at Saint John’s University before transferring to the University of Nevada, Reno, where he completed his Bachelor of Science in Biology with honors. He went on to earn his Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) degree at the University of the Pacific Arthur A. Dugoni School of Dentistry, where he was honored as the runner-up for the prestigious Henry Sutro Award for Excellence. He is committed to lifelong learning and continues to pursue over 100 hours of continuing education annually in the fields of cosmetic dentistry, general dentistry, and clear aligner treatment. Dr. Gruhler is an active member of the American Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry (AACD), the Academy of General Dentistry (AGD), the American Academy of Clear Aligners (AACA), the California Dental Association (CDA), and the American Dental Association (ADA).

Dr. Gruhler is a dedicated and compassionate dentist currently practicing in Marin County. He brings a patient-centered approach, focusing on building strong relationships and ensuring open communication. Dr. Gruhler believes that trust and empathy are essential for delivering the highest quality dental treatment.

Dr. Gruhler is a true sports enthusiast who enjoys staying active by taking full advantage of the outdoor activities Marin County has to offer. In his free time, he’s an avid skier and golfer, and he has a deep passion for traveling and immersing himself in new cultures. Beyond his personal interests, Dr. Gruhler is committed to giving back to the community, having participated in a dental mission trip to Guatemala and volunteered with the Special Olympics.
